How We Work Together

Matt collaborates with participants and their formal/informal support networks to move from crisis management to meaningful growth through a cycle of assessment, action, and data-driven refinement:

Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA): Using qualitative and quantitative data to move beyond guesswork, uncovering the "story" behind a behaviour and identifying the specific triggers and setting events.

Tailored Support Plans: Developing NDIS-compliant Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that are evidence-based, "fit-for-purpose," and easy for support teams to follow.

Restrictive Practice Oversight: Identifying and documenting any necessary restrictive practices with a strict focus on the "least restrictive" option, including mandated check-ins to fade these practices over time.

Proactive & Reactive Strategies: Providing a balanced toolkit of strategies-proactive measures to build skills and reactive measures to ensure safety during an escalation.

Data-Driven Refinement & Reporting

Behaviour support is an evolving process, not a static document. Matt ensures support remains effective through:

Continuous Data Review: Regularly analysing behavioural data to validate strategy effectiveness and ensure the "function" of the behaviour is correctly addressed.

Progress & Recommendation Reports: Providing formal, data-backed reports that capture milestones, evaluate interventions, and provide clear clinical recommendations for NDIS plan reviews.

Adaptive Planning: Re-evaluating and refining plans as the participant grows or enters new life stages. As circumstances change, the Behaviour Support Plan is updated to remain relevant and effective.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with medical practitioners, allied health staff, schools, guardians, and legal representatives to ensure the plan is executed seamlessly across all environments.
